Once again, Hollywood celebrities choose Bodrum to spend their holidays. This time it was Mexican American film actress Salma Hayek, who choose Bodrum to spend her summertime vacation with her husband Francois Pinault and their 6-year-old daughter Valentina Paloma.
The famous couple arrived in Bodrum with a luxurious boat last week after reportedly first visiting the Greek island.
She stayed in Bodrum for three days during a Blue Cruise on Mediterranean coming from the Greek island of Symi in the Aegean Sea.
Hayek had dinner in a restaurant at Gumusluk in the evening. She stayed in hotel Amanruya, a tranquil all-season resort located in Torba Bodrum opened a month ago.
Named after the Sanskrit word for peace, ‘aman’, and the Turkish word for dream, Amanruya is set on a peaceful hillside, offering breathtaking views of the sea and a winding pathway leading to a sheltered pebble beach.
Hayek and her guests rest for three days at the hotel, and then continued her Blue cruise to Greece to the blue island of Leros.
Salma Hayek got her start in Mexican television productions in the late 1980s before moving to Los Angeles to work in the movies. She had small but memorable roles in Mi Vida Loca (1993) and From Dusk Till Dawn (1996, with George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino), and she played the love interest opposite Antonio Banderas in Desperado (1995).
Her next big producing project is animated version of Khalil Gibran’s mega selling book “The Prophet.” Roger Allers of “The Lion King” is the director of the movie.
Hayek is currently working with Adam Sandler in “GrownUps 2″ along with Kevin James and Chris Rock.
